The application allows users greater control over the settings. Flash, white balance, focus, ISO, shutter speed and exposure compensation can all be manually adjusted using the application.

Besides the amazing camera, you’ll find the specs of the Lumia 1020 to be similar to those of the Lumia 920. The Lumia 1020 also borrows heavily from the design language of the Lumia 920, minus the large camera hump for the optics and imaging technology.

The Lumia 1020 remains a very niche smartphone. Its camera is the standout feature, but even that will only appeal to professional photographers and serious camera enthusiasts. The Lumia 1020 is expected to go down as an iconic smartphone and Windows Phone.

During its development, the Lumia 1020 went by the codename 'EOS'.
